Hello my students. This is your teacher Khadija Muhammad welcoming you to your second semester and to our fantastic course Literary Prose.
I would like to tell you that this course is going to be different from any other literature course
you have ever studied in the University. I bet it will be the most
wonderful course because it uses all the technological tools that you
admire starting with websites and social media and ending with your own mobile phones.
However,
the course is going to be divided into two parts, the first of which is
the one am about to begin with you and the other part is going to be
provided by Dr. Amal Bayiumi. I have to tell you that
teaching this course is of a great importance to me as it is going to
make the case study part of my MA. Thesis.
The nature of the course
is going to be very simple in a way that you will not find any problem
to access its contents. It will only need a primary knowledge about
using computers, the internet and group discussions which is, am sure,
easy for all of you. If not, I am going to be giving you lectures about
how to use these tools for the purpose of enriching your computer skills as well as performing excellently in this course.
The site is going to be our second class after our classroom in the University which is going to take place in Helen Keller Self Access Center. That means, you will need to explore its content frequently every week if not daily. I will be posting announcements from time to time to update you with the news.
